Description

The factory manufactured and sold fastening products, including screws, bolts, nuts, anchors, and specialized metal fasteners for the construction, automotive, machinery manufacturing, infrastructure, and heavy-industry sectors.

At that time, I worked within the Koelner Group, which owned the screw factory in Łańcut. The industrial site employed approximately 900 people and manufactured fixing systems and construction fasteners.

I worked in the commercial department and was responsible for analysing and developing Russian-speaking markets: Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.

As part of this work, we organized a business trip to Lithuania and Latvia. Meetings with local companies and business partners produced concrete, positive commercial results for the Koelner Group.

Acquired new clients and managed relationships in international markets
Organized marketing campaigns and participated in trade fairs
Provided technical consulting on product specifications
Managed pricing, negotiations and commercial agreements
Handled customs clearance and export logistics
Prepared reports and monitored sales performance
Expanded company presence in new international markets

Business trip to Lithuania and Latvia

This business trip to Lithuania and Latvia formed part of my market-development and client-relations work as Export Manager at Koelner Rawlplug. The photograph was taken during the Latvian stage of the trip.

Inara Lisa and I have remained friends to this day. We later worked together on several other projects in France and met frequently in Paris, as well as during my subsequent trips to Latvia.

Inara has achieved considerable success with SIA POLFIX, helping the company build a strong position in the Latvian construction-materials market. POLFIX is an international trading company with experience dating back to 2002 and works with leading manufacturers in Europe, Scandinavia and the Baltic states.
